Aurora city council ward 4

Jan. 18 - 3 presentations; Aurora Resiliency Center, a walk in mental health facility, a presentation on the Aurora Civil Service Commission which hires and fires our Police and Fire and Todd Towles with InnovaUEV (Urban Electric Vehicle).

Feb. 15

March 15 - Lisa Weil will present on the work of the Colorado Education Network.  Additionally, Great Education Colorado has joined with over 20 education leadership organizations in the state to endorse Initiative 93 to bring additional dollars into our public schools.  The second presentation will be made by the City’s Art in Public Places Commission outlining their great work and the receipt of National awards.

April 19 - A presentation by Mr. Matt Cain the Aurora Civil Service Commission Executive Director. Mr. Cain will explain the duties and responsibilities of the Commission. We will also have a presentation by Ms. Isabelle McDevitt the Executive Director of Bridge House. This non profit organization will soon be operating a residential job training center at the intersection of S. Parker and S. Peoria.

Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at EcoTech Institute, 1400 S. Abilene St., unless otherwise noted.​
